Cartier Is The "Jeweler Of Kings..."
King Edward VII once said, "Cartier, the jeweler of kings is the king of jewelers." And that was actually years before he officially gave the jeweler a Royal Warrant. Since then, the royal family has used Cartier for more than one special event, starting with King Edwards's special order of 27 tiaras!
More recently, though, people might remember Duchess Kate Middleton's wedding day tiara. Known as the Cartier Halo tiara, it is made of 149 baguette diamonds and 739-brilliant cut diamonds.
The Goring Hotel Is The Only Hotel To Hold A Royal Warrant
The Goring Hotel first opened its doors in 1910. Since then, it's been a favorite of the royal household. They even recommended guests stay at the establishment during George VI and Her Majesty The Queen's respective coronations.
In 1990, Queen Elizabeth awarded hotel owner George Goring an Order of the British Empire Award for "services to the hotel industry." Years later, in 2013, she gave her Royal Warrant to the hotel, the only one in the service industry to receive the honor.
Elizabeth Arden Is The Queen's Go-To Beauty Brand
Looking at pictures, it's clear that Queen Elizabeth is a fan of bold lip color, especially when it comes to shades of red and pink. And, at many events, she can be seen touching up her makeup with one particular brand, Elizabeth Arden.
According to Refinery 29, the Queen and royal family have endorsed Elizabeth Arden's beauty produced for over 50 years, starting with its first Royal Warrant in 1962.
Jaguar Land Rovers Are The Wheels Of Choice
Jaguar Land Rover is thought to be the Queen's favorite automotive company, as she's been driving them since before she took the throne. According to Newsroom, it's also the only automotive manufacturer to hold Royal Warrants from all three head royals.
Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, and Prince William have all been seen driving the vehicles, all giving Land Rover their own stamp of approval. That is quite an accomplishment for the UK-based luxury carmaker.
McIlhenny Company Hot Sauce Is A Royal Household Staple
As it turns out, even the royal family likes a little kick to their food. Unfortunately, there was a shortage of the Mcllhenny Company's red pepper Tobasco sauce during the Second World War. But that wasn't going to stop The Queen Mother.
According to her majesty's deputy controller, "The Queen [Mother], when she was told that there was no more Tabasco sauce, took the news philosophically." The McIlhenny Company was awarded the Royal Warrant in 2009.
Cornelia James Has Been Designing Royal Gloves Since 1979
The royal family's relationship with Cornelia James dates back to 1947 when the now-queen asked Cornelia to make her gloves to pair with a going-away outfit. Since then, their partnership has stuck, and Cornelia has been her Majesty's go-to glove designer.
Cornelia James was awarded the Queen's Royal Warrant in 1978 and has held it ever since. On their website, it says, "The Royal Warrant is not a prize but rather a recognition of excellence consistently achieved."
Hunter Boot Limited Is A Favorite
Founded in 1856, Hunter Boot Limited quickly became known for its outdoor footwear, particularly its waterproof rubber Wellington boot. And while they manufacture other products, including bags, accessories, and even socks, the royal family adores the Wellington boots.
In fact, more than one royal household member has given the company their Royal Warrant and stamp of approval, including Queen Elizabeth and the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip who first started wearing the waterproof footwear in the '70s.
The Queen Loves Eagle Sweet Peas
Eagle Sweet Peas is a family-run nursery specializing in various forms of sweet pea flowers since 1992. The nursery has won many accolades, including Best in Show and various Gold Medals. But one honor they're likely the proudest of is the Royal Warrant the Queen Mother awarded them.
Queen Elizabeth regularly purchases seeds and flowers from Eagle Sweet Peas. According to the Royal Warrant holders Association, the nursery now has "40 varieties of named Spencer sweet peas."
Fulton Umbrellas Are The Queens Umbrella Of Choice
Fulton Umbrellas was first established in the UK in 1956. It didn't take long for Queen Elizabeth to fall in love with the brand. Being a huge proponent of her subjects being able to see her when she's out in public, the Queen jumped at the opportunity to endorse and give Fulton's transparent umbrellas her Royal Warrant.
According to the Fulton website, "Not only do these allow her to be seen by her public, they're completely bespoke and are made to match her outfit."
Swarovski Has Been The Queen's Favorite Since 1949
Founded in 1895, Swarovski is known to sell some of the world's highest-quality crystals. And while the original Swarovski Optik has been one of the Queen's favorites since 1949, Swarovski UK has just recently earned her Royal Warrant in 2019.
Upon receiving the honor, the company wrote a statement, saying, "[It] is a significant honour, which acknowledges the quality of our product and reflects the ongoing provision of crystal to the British Royal Family.'
Hardy Brothers Make The Queen's Cup Award
The Australian-based Hardy Brothers jewelry company was founded back in 1853. It has since become the sole Australian-based jeweler to hold the royal household's stamp of approval.
In 1929, King George V appointed the company by way of Royal Warrant, and it has since remained a company utilized by the royal family. One of their major projects for the household is the design for prizes of the Queen's Cup, the first-ever one being an 18-carat gold cup.
Burberry Holds More Than One Royal Warrant
Established in 1856, Burberry is a British luxury brand that the royal family has used for years. Queen Elizabeth pretty much doesn't walk out of her residence if it's raining unless she's sporting her Burberry waterproof coat.
As such, the company has been given the honor of not one but two Royal Warrants. The first by Prince Charles in 1955 and the second by Queen Elizabeth in 1989. That's quite the accomplishment.
Axminster Carpets Is The Carpet Company Of The Royals
Since the time of King George III, Axminster Carpets has been supplying the royal family and their various residences with quality "fleece to floor" carpets. The company's years of service haven't gone unnoticed either and has the Queen's Royal Warrant to show for their excellent service.
On their website, Axminster Carpet representatives write, "Being awarded the Royal Warrant is a testament of our commitment to manufacturing carpets of the highest possible standard..."
Tom Smith Makes The Family Handmade Holiday Poppers
Each holiday season, the royal household uses one company for its Christmas crackers or poppers. The Welsh firm Tom Smith has been making handmade crackers for the royal household since before 1906 when Prince Edward VII granted the company their first Royal Warrant.
Tom Smith has since been honored with multiple Royal Warrants from various family members, including King George V in 1910, Queen Mary in 1911, and Queen Elizabeth II in 1964. It's safe to say they don't need to include the paper crown, though.
Samsung Has Been Supplying The Royal Household Since '06
Starting back in 2006, Samsung has been supplying the royal family with all of their electronic needs, namely televisions and audio equipment. They even had a 24-hour maintenance man on-hand, just in case a royal needed help with anything.
Talk about staying on someone's good side! Finally, in 2012, the company was given the Royal Warrant, the official stamp of approval from the Queen Mother and the royal household. Samsung is the first company of its kind to receive the honor.

Considering how popular a drink Coca-Cola is, it might not come as too much of a surprise to learn that the company has been awarded a Royal Warrant and the Queen's seal of approval.
Even more interesting is the fact that since Coca-Cola owns the Schweppes brand in the UK, the company technically has two seals of approval from the royal household! Schweppes was awarded a Royal Warrant back in 1836. Apparently, they've been supplying the royal household with non-alcoholic beverages for quite some time!

Waitrose Grocers Earned The Honor More Than Once
Waitrose Limited is a high-end British supermarket chain that is endorsed by the royal family. Locals were actually surprised when they caught wind that the Queen shopped there! But, in 2002, she gave her Royal Warrant to the chain. And she wasn't the first.
